Jahur Mehandi Gold needed both a till and a books of accounts — not one or the other. Codemez implemented Zoho POS for counter billing and Zoho Books for customers, GST invoices, payments, and the item catalog.
Books is wired through to a production API at api.jahurmehandigold.com: invoices, contacts, items, and tax-inclusive rates so a billed amount stays the amount the customer pays. Floor staff sell on POS; accounts stay in Books.
The challenge
Mehandi and gold retail mixes walk-in billing with GST invoicing. A POS that does not post to accounts, or Books without a usable till, meant double entry and tax mistakes on inclusive rates.
Our solution
We rolled out Zoho POS at the counter and Zoho Books for invoicing, customers, and payments. Invoice totals are configured as GST-inclusive, with create/void/record-payment flows so the floor and the books stay on one organization.
